Managing Users

The admin interface supports multiple users and 3 different privileges:

  • Edit data - alowa a user to edit content
  • Edit schema - allows a user to edit the schema es well as the display settings.
  • Edit permissions - allows a user to approve new user requests as well as changing a user's permissions

To manage users - in the admin go to: /orkanUsers

Adding a new user

Adding a new user to the system starts with the user trying to sign-in to the system with any of the enabled providers. After authentication, the user will receive a message saying a request was sent to the system admin.

To approve/decline a request: When requests are available, an upper bar will appear in the admin interface for users with Edit permissions privileges. click on it to expand the requests list.
